Crazy Circular Celtic Knots - eCourse
Circular Celtic Knots can be found in ancient manuscripts and on stone markers. Some are simple in design and others complex taking many forms and directions. In this course, you will draw three Celtic Knots starting with a spiral shape, and following onto a crazy eight and then three rings of knots.
Supplies needed for class:
3 pieces of watercolor weight paper cut to the following sizes:
6” square (15.5 cm)
8.5" square (21 cm)
6 x 8" (15.5 x 20.5 cm)
Black fine line pen (e.g., Micron .01 or PN).
Pencil and smudge stick or tortillon for shading
Your choice of watercolor or colored pencils (e.g., Prisma or Polychromous) to add color
Tools needed for setup:
Compass and protractor
12" ruler
Quality eraser
You may want to add highlights with a white gel pen or white chalk pencil
