Tangled Renaissance Knotted Hummingbird eCourse
Join me in drawing a beautiful Renaissance style hummingbird design surrounded by an ancient Celtic Knot creating an amazing frameable art piece.
Don’t know how to draw Celtic Knots, no problem. I will show you using my step by step process for creating a Celtic Knot in the round. Not sure if you can draw a hummingbird, no problem. I’ve got a new stencil available in the shop with two different sized hummingbirds that are suitable for this art piece. I will also show you how to draw a hummingbird freehand during this eCourse.
Supplies needed for this project:
· Zentangle Opus tile or tan Stonehenge paper cut to a 10.5 inch (25 cm) square or heavy weight Kraft paper.
· 3 brownish Micron pens
o Sepia PN (looks brown)
o Brown .01 (looks sepia)
o Burgandy PN (looks dark sepia)
· Several shades of brown/sepia shades of chalk pencil. I am using General’s chalk pencils:
o 4429 Sanguine
o 4453 Burnt Sienna
o 4451 Van Dyke Brown
o 4417 Yellow Ochre
o White
o Optional 4405 Scarlet Red
· 2 tortillons, one each for light and dark shades
Tools needed:
· Compass, protractor and 12 inch ruler
· Pencil
